     Since 2013, reining horses have made an impact on Josh’s life. It began at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT where his coach asked him to compete on the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team. From there he was hooked, and after college he worked for multiple NRHA professionals including Casey Deary. Josh worked for the Deary’s for seven years, learning as much as he could, including the opportunities to show multiple high caliber horses. At the end of 2022, Josh had amassed almost $250,000 in NRHA earnings. Major titles included 2021 Open Derby Level 3 Champion and TRFAM Open Shootout Champion, securing him a spot at the 2022 Run for a Million.

      In 2019 Josh married his wife, Layton and two years later they became a family of three when their daughter Ema was born. In November 2022, Josh and Layton purchased Spring Creek Ranch, where they later opened the doors for training in January 2023. While in the first year of business, Josh has won over $100,000 at various major NRHA events. Josh aims to train and coach successful horses and clients to their highest potential and can’t wait to see how he can help everyone achieve their goals!
